Around 6 - 9 months before your big day is an ideal time for your full design and tasting consultation. Our completely relaxed and informal consultations are by appointment only and require 2-4 weeks notice. They are charged at £25 which would be redeemable from the total cost of your cake once you have secured your booking. You can book your design and tasting consultation via the website.
You are invited to my home studio to sample some of the most popular flavours and enjoy some compliment refreshments whilst we discuss the finer details of your wedding cake and any table styling.

Here you will be able to see wedding cakes on display, that will give you an idea of quality, size and scale.

During this consultation I will pull together all of the elements that you want to include in your wedding cake, and advise on designs that will work with your numbers, style and budget.

This is a no obligation consultation - all I ask is that you have your date confirmed, your venue booked and an idea of the number of guests that will attend.
Can't make it to a consultation? or prefer to taste our cakes before having a consultation? Order a cake sample box via our website and you can choose your 6 cake taster samples to be posted to you for £18 which will be redeemable from the total cost of your cake once you have secured your booking. Please note that any additional boxes purchased are not redeemable against your booking. Requirements can also be met online and over the telephone so be rest assured it is absolutely possible to book, confirm details and taste without meeting up for a consultation.
Following your consultation, I will send you a detailed email of all that we have discussed, along with a formal quote, and a sketch or watercolour of your wedding cake design. This will help you to visualise your cake, and ensure that we have the same vision.
If you are then happy to proceed, a 20% non-refundable deposit is then required to secure your date and booking which will be redeemable from the total cost of your cake.
Be rest assured you can happily continue with the rest of your wedding planning with peace of mind. You can follow our daily stories on whats happening in Chanté Louise Cake Studio on our instagram. I will then contact you again approx 8 weeks before your wedding to re-confirm all details to see if there are any changes and send a final invoice for any outstanding payments. Your final balance will be required 28 days before your big day.

A consultation is the best to get an accurate quote for your wedding cake, since each wedding cake is made to order, and is as individual as you are.
Delivery of your wedding cake will be on the morning of your big day. I will liaise directly with the venue for delivery and set-up, and I will also liaise with your chosen florist if you are having fresh flowers.
